On these pages you’ll find downloadable graphics to use in campaigning for Gov. Dean. The menu at left shows what’s currently available — check back again, though, since I’ll be adding more as the “creative muse” strikes (or when specific requests come from other volunteers). Click here if you’re using Internet Explorer 4.x or higher and would like to add Grassroots Graphics to your Favorites folder. The graphics are all free for you to use; all I ask is attribution if you use them commercially or place them on another download site. Several pages list a couple of places you can find “how-to” instructions if necessary, as well as several sources I’ve found on the Internet for any extra materials you might need. (Note that I haven’t made purchases at any of these places, so I can’t vouch for their reliability.) You can also probably find these materials locally at office-supply stores. About Grassroots GraphicsSo called because it’s part of the extraordinarily innovative grassroots effort by thousands of Dean volunteers, Grassroots Graphics came into being when several posters at Gov. Dean’s Blog for America wished aloud for some transfers they could iron onto t-shirts to wear as campaign advertising, saving the money they’d otherwise spend for purchased campaign items to donate to the Dean campaign for the Democratic nomination. It sounded like a plan to me, since I have a lot more time than money these days (thanks, Dubya!) and a bit of experience with graphics software. I live in a state with a primary so late as to be practically nonexistent, so here’s my volunteer “niche,” at least until the general election campaign begins.
